Debates of RA Draft Law on RA State Budget for 2019 in RA NA Standing Committees Continue

On November 6, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on European Integration and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan and Gagik Minasyan the debates on the RA State Budget for 2019 continued, where the MPs, representatives of the ministries and those responsible for the spheres took part.

The RA Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan has noted that the budgetary support grant is envisaged to get from the EU for implementing some programmes aimed at the sphere of the European integration for the coming year.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Karen Nazaryan detailed the main directions of the development of the RA-EU relations during the past years of the current year and the coming works.

According to Karen Nazaryan, in May of the next year the 10th anniversary of the formation of the Eastern Partnership would be held in Brussels, where Armenia would also take part.

At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs held on the same day the revenues and expenditures to be allocated for the system by the draft budget of the coming year were debated.

The RA Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan in his word has noted that the turnovers by the extra-budgetary accounts are also included in the RA draft budget for 2019.

The RA Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Ara Nazaryan touched upon the allocations being designed for forest fire monitoring and the development of forecast capabilities, the operation of the electronic united government system, the investment of the crisis government system in the communities of the borderline regions, the development of the early announcment system of the disasters, the revelation and assessment of the risks.

According to the Head of Police Valery Osipyan, organziational-legal and structural optimization process has already started.

The RA Deputy Director of the National Security Service Aram Hakobyan presented the financial allocations for the next year.

The budgetary debates designed for the Ministry of Defense and state reserves were held behind closed doors.
